I created this resource to help you incorporate embedded mnemonics with your alphabet handwriting instruction.

What are Embedded Mnemonics?

Embedded mnemonics are pictures in the shape of the letter and they have been shown in research studies to help students learn the alphabet faster!

This resource includes my embedded mnemonics pictures (featured in my other resources) and provides an opportunity for kids to connect the letter shape with the sound and a target picture.

Please note this includes LOWERCASE letters only!

What is Included:

•3 Posters for each letter/sound with alliteration sentence highlighting the sounds (Please note these are not decodable. They are meant to be read by the teacher.)

•2 handwriting pages for each letter/sound with alliteration sentence & handwriting page

•1 trace, color, and write page

•1 color and write page
