I created these slides as an easy, fun way for you to introduce the suffix –s to your students. The slides include real pictures and are designed to work with an interactive smartboard or whiteboard.
How to use this resource:
Show the first slide and explain the first meaning of –s to students. Talk about the pictures. Show the next slide and have students write the word. All pictures used are designed to be DECODABLE so students who know their CVC words can write the words on their own. You can have a student come up to write the word on the board and other students can write on a whiteboard or paper to follow along.
