Description

Hello Science of Reading friend!

I created this resource to help teach foundational reading skills to older students. Using real pictures and challenges, students will work on these skills without feeling like they are doing something meant for younger students.

This is one resource in a LINE of resources I am creating for older students! Check out more resources for OLDER KIDS here!

The real pictures on the bingo board allow for older students to play without feeling like they are doing something designed for young kids.

I have also included bingo boards with words only so you can choose which boards are the best fit for the students you are working with.

This resource is focused on phoneme addition (which means adding a sound).

How to Play:

Cut up the cue cards and place them all upside down. Give each student a bingo board. Flip over a cue card and read what it says.

Students will have to listen to the sounds & find the word.

Once a student gets 5 in a row, they call BINGO, and you can check their bingo by comparing the cue cards that are flipped over to the pictures they covered.

Be sure to follow along so you know when more resources in this line are released and check out the SOR 101 Membership to SAVE MONEY & learn more about the science of reading!
