So, what is successive blending?
Successive blending is when you start with the first two sounds and then add in the last sound. This is one way to help kids who struggle with blending.
These slides are great for whole group practice. Just display the slide show and click through having kids blend as you go.

This resource contains CVC Words with Short A, Short E, Short I, Short O, and Short U. There are 200 slides for practice. Each short vowel has 10 words for practice.
