THIS IS A GROWING BUNDLE!
I created these cards as a way to help develop vocabulary and word recognition in early readers. When we take a look at the reading brain, we can see that meaning is important when kids are learning new words! Many of the early decodable words are words that kids may not hear often. This means vocabulary is important at even the earliest stages of learning to read!
I created this manual as a helpful guide when you are teaching sounds and/or their spellings. Each page contains a mouth articulation picture, spelling frequencies, voiced/unvoiced, stop/continuous, and either a fun fact, additional spellings, or exceptions.
