These alphabet cards include mouth formation pictures to remind students of the sound & how to make it correctly. I also included 5+ pictures featuring real photos and clip art that you can easily change out as you are working on each letter.
This resource includes my embedded mnemonics pictures (featured in my other resources) and provides an opportunity for kids to connect the letter shape with the sound and a target picture.
This set includes 4 versions of the posters (plain background without letter, plain background with letter, watercolor background without letter, watercolor background with letter).
This set includes 2 versions of each letter (one with letters on the picture and one without) with carefully chosen the key words for each letter and sound to be sure they follow the science of reading.
Have you made the change from memorizing words to mapping words? Sound boxes are a great tool but…. if I’m honest, they can get a little boring! So, I have created these Mapping Mats as a fun twist!

I created these cards as a way to help develop vocabulary and word recognition in early readers. When we take a look at the reading brain, we can see that meaning is important when kids are learning new words! Many of the early decodable words are words that kids may not hear often. This means vocabulary is important at even the earliest stages of learning to read!
I chose every single word very carefully to ensure that my decodables are 100% decodable if you are following my scope & sequences! This builds confidence for emerging readers and eliminates the need for memorizing words or guessing.
